KC Autos Secure First Place at the 2011 WNS Bodyshop Oscars

On the evening of April 8 2011, WNS held its fourth annual Bodyshop Oscars award ceremony at the prestigious Charing Cross hotel in Central London. The event recognises the achievements of the top 40 "Gold Standard" bodyshops within its network of over 420 approved repairers spanning the length and breath of the UK, over the past year.

All 40 bodyshops were invited to attend the event which saw each of them receive a "Premier Gold Repairer Award". Whilst, the three highest ranked repairers KC Autos of Winsford in first place, as well as Car Struck of Yeovil and Drive Vauxhall of Bury St. Edmunds as runners up, each received an individual award.

The "Gold, Silver Bronze" scheme utilised by WNS to define network standards is based on a comprehensive scorecard model introduced to monitor repairer performance. This continuous assessment programme offers evaluation based on criteria set to meet the values of its client base, such as customer satisfaction scores, cost control and adherence to client service levels such as average off-road times.

This year's gala event was attended by Bodyshop Managers from all 40 repairers, key suppliers to the network, who also acted as sponsors for the evening as well as WNS' own Network Management team.

Managing Director of WNS Assistance, Tim Rankin explained that the WNS Bodyshop Oscars, ''continue to be a successful way of highlighting the achievements and hard work of the most outstanding repairers in our network. Our Gold, Silver and Bronze scorecard model ensures that work is channelled to the best performing bodyshops on a primary basis which evokes healthy competition for both volumes along with the converted "Gold" status; whilst delivering high quality repairs for our clients. Moreover, the inclusion of 24 new repairers in this year's top 40 illustrates the consistently high standards being exhibited across the Network.''
