We are currently looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join us in the role of Third Party Intervention Handler; this is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in the insurance industry. To be successful you will need the drive required to meet and exceed customer expectations, build internal and external relationships and deliver service excellence.

Basic Purpose and Function

  • Represent the brand of our clients in offering beneficial services to potential claimants whilst minimising the indemnity cost to those clients
  • Work together with the team to contact non-fault third party drivers within agreed timescales
  • Consider the validity of each claim by assessing liability and the accident circumstances
  • Convert the opportunities presented into successes by offering WNS Assistances services to get the third party drivers back on the road
  • Provide a professional, friendly and seamless claims resolution service

Key Tasks

  • Make outbound calls to all potential claimants to assess their needs and encourage their acceptance of relevant capture services
  • Identify possible fraudulent claims
  • Assess policy indemnity and liability
  • Liaise closely with other internal teams

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience


  • Previous experience of working in a call centre sales role / environment
  • A positive and self-confident approach when dealing with customers, and where appropriate, representatives of the Company’s Clients.
  • The ability to utilise qualities such as empathy, tact and diplomacy when interacting with customers, with the recognition that customers may be distraught and concerned following an incident.
  • Ability to negotiate and influence others
  • GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)


  • Previous experience in a Third Party Intervention role or a sales role in an insurance claims environment
