WNS Staff Raise £1,000 in Orwell Walk

Eleven staff members at Ipswich-based WNS Assistance, a motor insurance claims management firm, have raised a total of £1,000 for charity from Sunday's Orwell Walk. The money will be split evenly between the British Heart Foundation and Ovarian Cancer Research.

Nine of the eleven WNS employees completed the 25-mile walk, with the other two managing 10 miles, in what was the company's first-ever participation in the annual event organised by the Rotary Club of Ipswich East.

WNS handles motor insurance claims for insurers, brokers and large commercial fleets, which contributed around half the £1,000 raised.
